The story focuses on a demolition miner who becomes trapped hundreds of meters underground after a mining accident. It unfolds through his fantasies while awaiting rescue, blending memories and reality. Different animation styles are used to match various memories and their corresponding emotions. This film serves as a tribute to the ordinary people of a previous era who, through their participation in globalized operations, helped propel a period of rapid development.
