Qianai Lin

  Hello! My name is Qianai Lin, from Beijing, China, a sincere creator. I graduated from Communication University of China and am currently based in Paris, pursuing a master’s degree at Gobelins.

  Skilled in storytelling through comics and animation, with a passion for connecting with people and exploring different cultures.

My film This Tooth Is Mine (2025) has been gaining international recognition. In 2025, it received the Children’s Choice Award at the ZERO PLUS International Animation Festival in Russia and was nominated for the Potential Animation Award at the Golden Monkey Awards.

​

As a graduating student, I directed I’m Li Yangqiao（2025）, which won the Best Chinese Animated Short Film Award at the 20th AniWow! International College Animation Festival in October 2025.

In comics, I published Wishing (2025). My comic My Journey Through Egypt was featured in Dream Traveler, the magazine of the Communication University of China, which itself was selected for the Angoulême Alternative Comics Award in 2024.
